Something isn't working (troubleshooting)

Here we've gathered the most common "worries": the bot isn't posting, the code didn't arrive, the group import is empty, the panel shows "offline," and so on. Important spoiler: most of these situations are normal system behavior, not a malfunction. Below we explain how to tell normal apart from a real problem, what you can fix yourself in a minute, and when it's worth reaching out to support (Telegram @BuzzPostil or WhatsApp +972 58-638-4995).

The bot isn't posting anything at all. Is it broken?
Most of the time, no. First, check the time: the FB groups bot posts roughly from 07:00 to 00:00 (in practice until 02:00), and Marketplace only at night, from 00:03 to 06:58 Israel time. Outside its window the bot isn't broken, it's simply sleeping - in your dashboard, on the server card, you'll see the status "🌙 Sleeping until 07:00" or "🌙 Sleeping until 00:00". If it's currently the active window and there are no posts, check whether the bot is paused, whether your Facebook session has expired, and whether you've run out of fresh listings (more on that below). It's a real problem only if you got a notification with a red icon about a dropped session.
The dashboard says "Server not responding / offline," but everything seems to be working. Is this serious?
Most of the time it's a false alarm. The dashboard checks your server over a secure connection, and on a busy server the first response sometimes doesn't arrive in time - so for about 60 seconds it shows "⚫ Server not responding - checking connection...", even though the server is actually alive and posting. Usually the status recovers on its own within a minute. You should only contact support if "offline" persists for several minutes in a row, no posts are going out, and no post screenshots are arriving in Telegram - in that case a real server restart may be happening.
Marketplace didn't post anything overnight. Is it broken?
No, that's the normal schedule. The Marketplace bot posts strictly at night, in the 00:03-06:58 window Israel time, and makes only about 2 posts per night. During the day it's running but deliberately doesn't post. If it's empty at night too, it's almost always pool exhaustion (all listings have already been posted 3 times during the week), and the fix is adding new listings to the bot. It's a real problem only if you get a message about a dropped Telegram session or "no new listings 3 times in a row."
I clicked "Log in to Facebook," the bar reached 100%, but the desktop never appeared.
This was a known window display glitch (it was already fixed on 04.06.2026). If you ran into it, refresh the page with a full cache reset: press Ctrl+Shift+R, then click "Log in to Facebook" again. After 100%, a window should embed with your desktop and Chrome already open at facebook.com. If the window shows an error, there's a "Retry" button. If after refreshing the window appears but shows a black screen inside, then contact support.
In the log the bot writes "0/4 posts, Chrome didn't start." Did the session drop?
No, this isn't about the session or a Facebook limit. It's a one-off browser startup failure due to a memory shortage on the server: the bot is NOT paused and does NOT require you to log in - it simply skips that slot and tries again the next hour. There's nothing you need to do. But if this repeats many times in a row (especially at night), contact support: the server may be short on resources, and we'll fix it on our end.
I got "Telegram session expired" and Marketplace stopped posting. What should I do?
This means the Telegram session that the bots use to pull your listings from the source has dropped - which is why MP stopped posting. Open the server card, click "Telegram session" and log in again: phone number in international format → code (it arrives IN the Telegram app, not by SMS) → if two-factor protection is on, your password. Wait for the green checkmark "Logged in," and MP will resume. If after several attempts the listings still don't come through, contact support - the session may need to be recreated. This notification arrives only in Telegram and is not also sent by email.
I clicked "Restart all" / "Reset errors" - what does that do, and will I lose my settings?
"Restart all" relaunches all of the server's bots (FB, MP and the Telegram bot) - useful if a bot has frozen. Your settings, groups and listings are NOT reset. "Reset errors" only clears today's error counter - but if the cause hasn't been resolved (FB session expired, a rate-limit is in effect, no groups), the errors will appear again. So first fix the cause (for example, log back in to Facebook), and only then reset the counter.
The server login window (VNC) is black or won't connect. What should I do?
First, just wait - connecting to the desktop takes about 15 seconds. If the bar is stuck at 92% for more than 25 seconds, the server is responding slowly: click "Cancel" and retry "Log in to Facebook." On a phone the controls work like this: one tap is a click, a long press is a right-click, two fingers is scrolling, and the on-screen keyboard is brought up with the letter button in the window's toolbar. If after refreshing the page (Ctrl+Shift+R) the window still stays black, contact support.
I imported groups, but the names show numbers or an ID instead of normal names. Is this an error?
No, it doesn't affect posting. Sometimes Facebook changes its layout and the bot can't pull a readable name - so the group's technical address is shown instead. That's enough for posting (the bot just needs the link to the group). Normal names usually get pulled in on the next successful import. If this happened to almost all groups at once, the system will show a warning about it.
How do I tell whether this is a normal "problem" or it's already time to contact support?
Resolve on their own (just wait or add listings): "sleeping" status outside the window; the message "all listings already 3 times"; a rate-limit pause (FB 3/6/24 hrs, MP 30 min); a one-off "Chrome didn't start"; a brief "server not responding" up to 1 minute. You fix these yourself in the dashboard: "Facebook session dropped" → log in via "Log in to Facebook"; "Telegram login needed" → enter the code from the app; import "not logged in to FB" → log in to FB; "FB login: 100% and empty" → Ctrl+Shift+R and retry. You should contact support if: the FB or Telegram login won't stick after several attempts; "server unavailable" persists for minutes and there are no posting screenshots; "Chrome didn't start" repeats en masse; the desktop window is a black screen even after refreshing.
There hasn't been a single post screenshot in Telegram for several hours. Did something break?
It depends on the time. If the bot is currently "sleeping" (FB outside 07:00-00:00, MP outside the night window), there's no scheduled posting, so there won't be any screenshots either. If it's the active window and it's been quiet for several hours, take a look in the dashboard: check for a pause banner, a rate-limit "paused until HH:MM," or an expired session. A screenshot arrives after EVERY successful post; if all listings have already been posted 3 times, there's nothing to publish - add new listings. Complete silence during the active window, with no banners and with fresh listings available, is a reason to contact support.
