Eilat is a unique city in Israel's real estate market. Most residents work in hospitality, and roughly half of rentals are short-term or seasonal. Posting in Eilat's Facebook groups splits into three categories: long-term apartments, rooms for hotel workers, and vacation units.
Shahamon and Mitzpe-Yam lead long-term deals, while downtown and Adom district fit seasonal hotel workers. First recommendation: do not post the same ad to a "hotel workers" group and a "quality housing" group - these are completely different audiences.
Fifteen main groups
The largest group - "Luach Eilat" - has over 80 thousand members and covers all ad types. Alongside it, 14 niche groups operate: four for rentals, three for hotel rooms, two for Kiryat Yam Suf, three for downtown. Additional groups serve the religious population in Shahamon and French immigrants.
Posting management
Posting to 15 groups in one city requires time spacing. The software spreads posts at two-hour intervals, particularly important in Eilat where the audience is relatively small and group overlap is high. Simultaneous posting is flagged as spam.
For agents
An agent with five active listings generates up to 75 publications weekly. The agent solution handles this volume. Tourist season April-September allows higher frequency. Pricing starts at 249 NIS/month.
