Ashdod is divided into 17 numbered quarters, each with its own character: Quarter Aleph (old), Quarter Yud-Bet (modern), Quarter Yud-Zayin (large garden apartments), and Ir Yam (close to the beach). This division is reflected in Facebook groups - no single group truly covers the whole city.
The three main groups
Three large citywide groups unite 40K+ members each. A good starting point but not enough. The other 17 are quarter-based and their members are more relevant to each specific property.
Community groups
Ashdod features many communities: Russian speakers, Ethiopian-origin residents in Quarter Zayin, religious population in Quarters Zayin and Yud-Aleph. Each community has its own group or two - a separate channel worth including.
Posting strategy
Posting to 20 groups in one city tests Facebook's anti-spam system. The solution is spreading over 40 hours with 120-minute intervals. This keeps each account healthy long-term.
Marketplace addition
Beyond groups, Marketplace posting brings a different audience - people actively searching rather than encountering a post in their feed. Marketplace inquiry screenshots arrive in Telegram.
Pricing
First month 249 NIS, 200 thereafter. The amount covers both groups and Marketplace - no add-ons.
