Facebook Marketplace has become an important rental search channel in Israel. Unlike groups, Marketplace runs a Yad2-like search logic — but for free. 10 tips for listings that get results.
Category and location
Category: "For Rent" → "Apartment". Location: specify the neighborhood, not just the city. Facebook search reads keywords in the title — write "Rental Neve Shaanan", not "beautiful apartment".
Photos
3–8 photos. First — building exterior or living room. First photo horizontal, wide, well-lit. Photos add 60% to reach.
Price
Enter a real price. "1 ILS" or absurd pricing = algorithm hides you. If you want negotiation, write "negotiable" in the description.
Description
200–500 words. Structure: 2-line intro, basic data, neighborhood advantages, contract terms, contact. No spam or marketing inflation.
Re-listing
After 7 days listings sink. In groups you can repost, in Marketplace you must renew. BuzzPost handles both automatically, including light photo modification in Marketplace to prevent duplicate detection.
Timely responses
Facebook measures response time. A reply within 15 minutes = higher listing rank. This statistic affects your placement in search results. See also how the bot helps agents.
