How is a listing carousel built on Instagram?

The bot takes the listing's files exactly as you sent them to Telegram and builds one post: the video on the first slide, then up to 9 photos in order, no more than 10 files in total. Before uploading it measures the video and picks a format: landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16 or 4:5 when photos are included, square 1:1, and in every other case Original, so captions inside the clip are not cropped. If there is no video, the format follows your setting: original, square or 4:5. The caption is the listing text, and a screenshot of the post arrives in Telegram.

The video first, the photos in order

On Instagram the first slide decides whether people swipe on. That is why the bot puts the apartment video first: a 20-second walk from the entrance to the living room says more than any photo. The photos follow in the order you sent them to Telegram: send living room, kitchen, bedroom, balcony, and that is what the viewer sees. Instagram allows up to 10 files per post, so the bot takes the video and up to 9 photos. Sent 12 photos? Nine make it into the carousel, so send the strong frames first. No video? The carousel is built from photos only and the format follows your setting: original, square or 4:5.

When you upload a carousel by hand, Instagram offers an automatic crop, and a vertical phone video loses the edges with the address and the price. The BuzzPost bot measures the video before uploading: 1080x1920 vertical, 1920x1080 landscape, 1080x1080 square. Landscape goes out at 16:9, square at 1:1, and a vertical video in a carousel with photos goes out at 4:5, the tallest format Instagram allows a carousel, so the captions stay in frame. What if the listing has 12 photos?

Instagram allows up to 10 files per post, so the carousel takes the video and up to 9 photos. The rest do not go into that post. So send the important frames to Telegram first: living room, kitchen, balcony, and only then the storage room. The order in the carousel is the order you sent them in.

Is there still a carousel without a video?

Yes. If the listing has photos only, the bot posts them as a carousel in your order, up to 10 photos. In that case the format is not measured from a video but taken from the panel setting: original, square 1:1 or 4:5. You change the setting once for the whole server.

Why is a carousel better than a single photo?

Because a flat is not one picture. An interested person wants to see the living room, the kitchen, the rooms, the balcony and get the size from the video without asking whether there are more photos. A carousel puts all of that in one post, and the viewer swipes instead of leaving. The bot simply does it from every listing, with no manual file sorting.

How to send a listing so the carousel comes out well

The bot does not edit files, it uploads what you sent. So the order and the selection happen at the moment you send to Telegram. Video: one, ideally vertical from the phone, a continuous walk with no cuts. Photos: no more than 9, the strong ones first, because after the fourth slide most people have decided. Last slide: the balcony or the view, to end strong. Sent a video shot horizontally? It goes out at 16:9 with the photos after it in the same post. Sent a square video? 1:1. After publishing a screenshot of the carousel arrives in Telegram, and the panel keeps a link to the post by the listing. The same files also go to Facebook groups and Marketplace, so one tidy listing works everywhere.

What you see in the panel before and after publishing

On the Instagram page in the panel every listing has a card: it counts how many photos and how many videos there are, opens the photos in a large viewer and shows the caption exactly as it will go to Instagram. So you check in advance that the carousel starts with the video and the photos are in the right order, without opening Instagram. After publishing the listing's state changes to Published with a date and a link, and the screenshot of the post appears under Post screenshots. If the same flat needs to go out again, for example after a price drop, click Publish again and the carousel is rebuilt from the same files. There is no need to send the photos a second time. The bot releases no more than 4 carousels a day per account, in queue order.
